This engine uses wide-range variable valve timing and two-step variable valve lift to deliver efficient performance and tow 7,730 lbs. The second engine is available 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine with eTorque. Its Mild Hybrid Technology System generates 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque with a towing capacity of up to 12,750 pounds.

The powerful and efficient 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine offers over 950 miles on a single tank, an estimated longest available 4×4 highway driving range. It churns out 260 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque and has a towing capacity of 9,600 pounds. Only available on the Ram 1500 TRX trim, the 6.2-Liter Supercharged HEMI® V8 engine can achieve 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. The supercharger gives out a horsepower of 702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. The TRX trim is excellent if you want your Ram 1500 pickup for heavy-duty jobs.
