In the 1960s, the color TorRed was originally introduced as HEMI® Orange. There have been questions about this color ever since. The main question has been, is it red, or is it orange? It really is both! You will see more of the orange color in the sunlight, and more of the red color when it is dark. In the 1970s, the color TorRed was discontinued. When HEMI® Orange and TorRed were reintroduced in 2009, they were two different colors.

What vehicles are available in the TorRed color?


The Dodge Charger and Challenger are available in the TorRed color. These two vehicles have a lot of power and capability under the hood. This color is a fun way to show that off. The 2020 Dodge Charger comes standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 300 horsepower and 284 lb-ft of torque. The 2020 Dodge Challenger also comes standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 303 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. As you increase in trim levels for these two vehicles, more powerful engines become available and standard.
