60/40 Split Doors on the 2019 Ram 1500
When you open the tailgate, you can open it by using its 60/40 split doors feature. These doors open outwards to the side, so it is easier to load the bed. You can open either side, open both, and put the tailgate down in the traditional way.
Kick-Out Bed Step and RamBox® Cargo Management System
No more would you have to climb onto the tailgate to get into the truck bed. With a kick, the available bed step will deploy under the rear bumper. This will allow you to step up and down from the bed without hassle.
The RamBox® Cargo Management System is also available for drivers of the 2019 Ram 1500. This feature is exclusive to the Ram 1500 in its class by offering an advanced storage system. Located in the back, you can access weatherproof, lockable, illuminated, and drainable bins. These bins will even have outlets so you can charge your electronic gear.
